Abnormal Load Delivery Route

Abnormal load vehicles delivering turbine components will travel from King George V Docks in Glagow along agreed sections of the M8 and M73 near Glasgow, before joining the M77/A77 and travelling south past Kilmarnock before then turning onto the A76 towards New Cumnock.

The route will follow the A76 from Kilmarnock, through Cumnock and New Cumnock, until just before Kirkconnel. Here the delivery vehicles will turn onto the C125n for the final section to the site entrance as shown on the map. All deliveries will be carefully planned and managed to minimise disruption, with traffic management in place where required, and as agreed with local councils and Transport Scotland.
