We are scheduled to deliver next week. Please be advised that there may be disruptions due to weather conditions, as high winds could impact transport operations. In addition, our delivery is dependent on police escort arrangements.
Please note that no blade lifter deliveries are scheduled for next week. The planned movements will be from the Port to the Transfer Area only.

Turbine deliveries are now underway
Wind turbine component deliveries for Sanquhar II Wind Farm are scheduled to take place this week.
The deliveries will depart from the Coal Yard at approximately 9:30am and travel in convoy through New Cumnock via the A76 towards Kirkconnel. The convoy will then turn onto the C125n and continue to the site entrance.
Please note that delivery schedules and traffic movements are subject to change due to operational delays and police availability.
Abnormal load vehicles delivering turbine components will travel from King George V Docks in Glasgow along agreed sections of the M8 and M73 near Glasgow, before joining the M77/A77 and travelling south past Kilmarnock before then turning onto the A76 towards New Cumnock.
The route will follow the A76 from Kilmarnock, through Cumnock and New Cumnock, until just before Kirkconnel. Here the delivery vehicles will turn onto the C125n for the final section to the site entrance as shown on the map. All deliveries will be carefully planned and managed to minimise disruption, with traffic management in place where required, and as agreed with local councils and Transport Scotland.
CWP Energy expects blade deliveries for Sanquhar II Wind Farm to begin in early June. Blades will travel from New Cumnock to site using a specialist blade lift trailer, with the route shown on the map. Deliveries will initially take place between 9:30am and 3:00pm for the first two weeks, before moving to evening operations from 6:30pm onwards. All deliveries will operate under police escort and temporary delays may occur, with designated passing places used to help maintain traffic flow. Weekly updates, live tracking links, and any weather-related changes will be shared on this page.
